Overview
Koala Living's Mile End showroom sits in the Mile End Home Co centre in Adelaide, a wide warehouse floor renovated into the company's sequence of arched, furnished rooms. ATAS delivered the electrical package, the second store in the program after Moore Park and the first outside Sydney.
Ninety-two tracks were suspended on stainless wire rope to a top-of-track height of 3600mm, set out to the showroom's rules, lamped and aimed during fit-off. Forty-one chandeliers and thirty-two wall lights were hung to scheduled heights, with junction boxes left at ten picture-light positions for fittings arriving later. Store lighting runs in four zones with two switchboard timers for the tracks and the signage. Eighty-four double outlets, data and WiFi, six CCTV cameras, sixteen speakers, two illuminated shopfront signs and four exit signs completed the package, certified at handover.
